There is a wide-ranging debate on whether or not people should keep guns in their homes. This might add fuel to the fire.
Police are saying that a woman in Fayetteville, North Carolina accidentally shot her husband while he was trying to bring her breakfast in bed.

Apparently, Zia Segule, a soldier at Fort Bragg, accidentally triggered the burglar alarm when he broke into the house in order to take care of his wife with a very nice surprise. But the situation worsened when his wife was alarmed by the unknown “intruder,” not knowing that it was her husband.

The shooting took place at 10:15 am on Friday. Hearing the alarm go off, Tiffany Segule reached for her weapon and responded to what she was hearing. The 27-year old woman says that she reacted to raw emotion when she pulled the trigger, hitting her husband in the chest. Shooting through the bedroom door, she didn’t realize that she’d hit the man she loved until after she opened the door to see him lying on the ground.

Segule was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, and it appears that he’s going to be OK.

Hopefully, he will make a complete recovery. By the way guys, this is no excuse not to serve your lover breakfast in bed. Just make sure you don’t set off the burglar alarm, especially if she has a gun.
