Why Isn’t Charlie Sheen Getting the Bill Cosby Treatment?

Actor Charlie Sheen has found himself being sued once again by a woman who is now claiming that the actor lied to her about being HIV-positive, as well as exposing her to the virus during their time of physical intimacy.

He isn’t officially named in the lawsuit as a defendant, however, the plaintiff does allege that Sheen gave a nationally-televised interview on November 17th, 2015 in order to announce that he was tested positive – which turned out to be the exact day that he’d appeared on the ‘Today Show.’

The recent lawsuit also makes claim that the defendant did a second interview on June 21st, 2016 – in this interview he’d sat down with Matt Lauer.

According to the suit, Sheen and the woman met on September of 2015. The Jane Doe says that prior to the two of them having intercourse, she’d openly asked Sheen if he’d had any STD’s.

Sheen allegedly said he was “fine,” Doe claims, and that she “needed to trust him.”

Doe also stated that Sheen used protection over the next two months, that was until October 26th, 2015. She also says that after they’d had unprotected intercourse, Sheen went outside to smoke and returned. When he came back into the room he’d allegedly “threw a bag of pills on the bed” and told her that he was HIV-positive.

The woman says that he did admit to lying to her and she is now attempting to sue him in hopes that he learn his lesson.

I have to admit, it does boggle my mind that Charlie Sheen hasn’t been prosecuted for his irresponsible actions and I am blown away by the fact that Sheen isn’t going through the same hell as Bill Cosby, the once beloved comedian that was accused of allegedly assaulting more than 50 women over the course of 40 years, though nothing has yet been proven in Cosby’s situation.

What are your thoughts on this news? Do you think Sheen should be put in prison for allegedly lying to all of these women?
