Steve Harvey Finally Claps Back At Ex-Wife Over $60 Million Lawsuit

Only twelve years after the two of them got their divorce, it now looks as if Steve Harvey and his ex-wife, Mary Shackleford, are still fighting like cats and dogs.

Their most recent news? Shackleford has recently filed a lawsuit against the funny man in hopes of seeking $60 million in “soul damage”, as well as child endangerment, torture, conspiracy against kidnapping, murder, kidnapping, breach of contract, and, as if that wasn’t enough, intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Though things aren’t looking good, it now seems that Mr. Harvey has taken it upon himself to speak out on the current mess surrounding his previous marriage.

In a statement to TheJasmineBrand.com, Harvey’s attorney states, “Mr. Harvey vehemently denies any allegations set forth in the lawsuit. The Complaint is meritless, frivolous and the allegations are completely false. We will vigorously defend/counterclaim against the Complaint.”

Steve and Mary wed back in 1996 and were divorced by 2005. The two of them have a 19-year-old son together, Wynston. And their marriage ended after alleged “irreconcilable differences,” though Mary has openly accused Harvey of having an affair with Marjorie Harvey, his current wife, on several occasions.

Hopefully, they will each get the closure they so clearly need. But, for now, we want to hear from you. What are your thoughts on this messy breakup aftermath?
