So Sad.

An 18-year-old woman has died in an apparent road rage incident after being shot in the head, right before her vehicle crashed. A manhunt is now on for the driver that shot her, according to authorities in Pennsylvania.

Bianca Roberson and an unknown man driving a red pickup truck were both attempting to merge into the same lane simultaneously on Route 100 of Chester County just this past Wednesday evening when the deadly incident took place, the district attorney’s office claimed in a statement released to the press.

“And a man in the red pickup truck pulled out a gun, and shot her in the head, killing her,” Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said.

Roberson’s car then steered off the road and crashed, WPVI-TV reported. Highway-camera footage showed Roberson and the man in the truck having some sort of verbal altercation right before the crash took place.

Police claimed that the pickup truck fled the scene of the crime and they are now in search of the driver.

“This is now a murder case,” Hogan said. “A young woman has died senselessly.”

Roberson had just graduated from West Chester High School and was headed to Jackson University in two weeks, excited to start her freshman orientation, according to the station.

Her family is hopeful that the driver will turn himself in.

“If you don’t even think it was your fault, and have a conscience, come forward and give us some closure and explain in your own words what happened,” Roberson’s father Rodney said.

Police said the driver was about 30 to 40 years old with a medium build and blond hair, adding that the make of truck was a Chevy. Police consider the man armed and dangerous.
