Michael Vick Needs to Shut Up & Here’s Why

Michael Vick has seemed to open his mouth once again and people are big mad!
Recently the retired NFL quarterback went out of his way to give Colin Kaepernick, who is still on the lookout for an NFL
job, some questionable advice after he was asked how he thinks the conscious baller could possibly get his job back.

“First thing we gotta get Colin to do is cut his hair,” Vick said Monday on FS1’s “Speak For Yourself.”

Kaepernick had a short hair cut, until he’d made the decision to grow his hair out and get braids just last season. He was often seen sporting a large afro during games.

Vick attempted to give Kaepernick, what some would call, basic tips that he’d felt could be helpful to anyone searching for a job. “Just clean cut, you know? Why not?” I guess he forgot that he’d had braids right before heading off to prison for those ridiculous dog fights that he’d orchestrated.

“The most important thing that he needs to do is just try to be presentable.”

He added: “I just think perception and image is everything, and listen, it’s not the Colin Kaepernick that we’ve known since he entered the National Football League. And I’m just going off my personal experiences, but I love the guy to death and I want him also to succeed on and off the field. And this has to be a start for him.”

Vick was the same NFL player that spent two years in prison during the height of his football career after he’d been found guilty on dog-fighting charges. However, he was later lucky enough to resurrect his career and believes that some of that had to do with him changing the way that he’d presented himself… However, we must remember that Kaepernick didn’t do anything illegal and there is still no reason as to why he should have been fired. However, Vick shouldn’t have gotten his job back… Just sayin’.

“I started to see what was most important and that was cleaning up, changing my image,” Vick said, “not just for public perception but for the judge and everything I was about to get involved in. It was a difficult process and it was one that I didn’t like, but it was one that I had to accept.”

Kaepernick has since took to his Twitter account to post the definition of Stockholm Syndrome.

However, we are waiting on a real response… You know? A major clap back because somebody needs to remind Vick where he came from. Apparently he’d forgotten.

What are your thoughts on this news? Think the two men should have a sit-down? Or should Vick just stay quiet and in his lane?
