Marilyn Mosby Now Attempting to Put Dirty Drug Planting Cops In Jail

There have been more than 30 cases involving three Baltimore police officers who’d been suspected of allegedly planting evidence to pen cases against alleged Baltimore drug dealers, however, the cases have now been dismissed, or are set to be dismissed, according to the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s statements this past Friday.

Bodycam footage, from one arrest back in January, appears to show an officer hiding drugs at the scene and it has now called for the credibility of the three officers to go into questioning, according to Marilyn Mosby, the state’s Attorney.

She said that there were 34 cases of dismissal, while 77 are still under investigation and review. However, 12 of the cases are still moving forward.

“Where these officers are material and necessary witnesses, we are dismissing those (34) cases, which rely exclusively on the credibility of these officers,” she said.

These cases involved felony drug and firearm charges, said Chief Counsel Antonio Gioia.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Internal Affairs division is now investigation their possible criminal wrongdoings, while the state’s attorney’s office is now evaluating the roles of the officers’ testimonies and how they would play out in the prosecuting cases.

“We have attempted to identify alternative ways to prove those cases where there is independent, corroborative evidence,” Mosby told reporters.

The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police still has yet to respond to the news outlets of what is allegedly going on with the three officers.

So, what are your thoughts on this news? Tell us what you’re thinking about the officers and what should happen to them if the investigation does come back to show foul play?
