Mae Jamison is the first black female astronaut. This ambitious woman always dreamed of going into space as a young girl. Her determination and studies paid off when she flew on space shuttle Endeavour in September 1992, becoming the first black woman to travel to space. Listen in to her experiences here. Salute!
