H Rap Brown says black people must fight against a black president

One brilliant man who is not respected enough in history is the great H Rap Brown (aka Imam Jamil Al Amin). Here he talks about whether or not America can or should have a black president. The most interesting part of his commentary is when he explains that having a black president won’t mean very much for black people. He says that if a black person were to get into office, black people would have to fight against that person, largely because that individual would be representing the interests of a country that is run by the military industrial complex. He also says that such a leader would not be able to serve the interests of black people.

Watch the video and tell us: Do his words ring true for President Barack Obama?
