Debi Thomas: Figure skater, surgeon and community activist

Before Debi Thomas became a surgeon/ physician, she was a world renowned figure skater.  In 1986, she won the World Championships in figure skating, and is a two time U.S. national champion, and 1988 Olympic bronze medalist.

After competing, Thomas went to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon and now has her own private practice in Richlands, Virginia.

In this clip, we see Thomas when she was only 20 years old, competing in the World Championships.  She was absolutely beautiful as she dominated the competition.
